Sestertius, 42 A.D. Rome. Laureate head r., TI. CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG. P.M. TR.P. IMP. P.P. Rv. Spes advancing l. holding flower, SPES AVGVSTA S.C. RIC 115. Dark green patina, lightly smoothed on the obverse, more noticeably tooled on the reverse. Small areas of verdigris on the edge. Nevertheless, Nice Very Fine. (600-800)
